Aishinkai
Aishinkai is a health institution located at 202 Northeast 185th Street in Shoreline, Washington, United States. This institution specializes in Japanese martial and cultural arts, including Iaidō, Aiki-ken, Aiki-Jō, Kyudō, Ki Development, Kiatsu, and Shodō. Sensei Jonathan Bannister, with a 6th-degree Renshi in Iaido and Shihan in AiShin-ryu Aikido, has been practicing and teaching these arts since 1980. He has trained extensively in Japan and is a respected figure in the martial arts community. The beautiful dojo in Edmonds, Washington is a private facility for members only, offering private instruction and special events. However, there is an open-to-the-public class called Introduction to Japanese Swordsmanship on Thursday evenings at the Spartan Recreation Center in Shoreline. Visitors are welcome to observe, but participation requires registration with Shoreline Parks and Recreation.
