"So far it's been as good as an experience at the dentist could be. I went to a different dental office a few months ago. The dentist used the heavy end of the dental mirror and tapped on my sore tooth 3 times. After gripping the arm rests, starting to sweat and trying not to cry, he did it again! I swore that was it for me. I was already nervous going in, more nervous when I heard him explain to a gentleman in the other room that he had just fixed the wrong tooth. Then after my "exam" handed me an estimate for over $3000. Didn't listen to a word I said, and kept interrupting me. Fast forward 3 months and I have dental insurance through my job. I went to Willamette Dental (Mill Plain) on an emergency basis for the same tooth. I was very apprehensive after the other experience. As soon as I spoke to the dentist the apprehension was gone. The exam was thorough, gentle, he was attentive and paid attention without interruption. He explained everything and answered every question I had without making me feel rushed. I have another appointment in 2 weeks. I still don't look forward to dental work, but it has to be done and I'm thankful it's getting done at Willamette."
