Kitsap County Manchester Stormwater Park

Managed by the Kitsap County Parks Department, this park offers a serene environment for visitors to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. The park is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the community through the management of natural areas and specialized facilities. The institution is currently working on a project to repair and improve the Point No Point Park beach and shoreline, which was damaged during the winter season. Phase 1 of the repair project has been completed, and Phase 2 is in progress to further enhance the beach and shoreline. Limited park access is currently in place until the project is fully completed. Additionally, the Stottlemeyer Trailhead Parking Lot at Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park is set to open soon, providing convenient parking for visitors to explore the park's hiking trails and natural beauty. The park is committed to sustainable practices and preserving the environment. Various trail sections may be periodically closed due to forest thinning operations, so visitors are advised to check for updates before visiting. The park is also working on developing a master plan for Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park, based on input from various stakeholders. The Kitsap County Parks Foundation provides support for the park's initiatives and projects.
