Public education governance in Tacoma, Washington

College Success Foundation-Tacoma, located at 3223 North 13th Street in Tacoma, Washington, is a collaborative effort with Tacoma Public Schools, the city government, colleges, and community organizations to ensure that students in Tacoma have the resources and support they need to access and succeed in college. Since 2001, CSF has been working with students from Foss, Lincoln, and Mt. Tahoma high schools, and has expanded to include Stadium and Silas high schools in 2009, as well as six middle schools. The programs offered by CSF are unique in that they start early, providing support to students starting in middle school and guiding them all the way through college completion. With a team of experienced professionals, including individuals with backgrounds in education, business, and community services, CSF is dedicated to empowering students, families, and communities in Tacoma to achieve their academic and career goals.
