The park has developed areas such as a baseball field, combination baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a Boundless Playground for children of all abilities, a picnic shelter, an outdoor performing arts amphitheater, and more. Visitors can also enjoy the heritage and master gardener demonstration gardens, as well as art & artifacts throughout the park.

McCormick Forest Park
β OpenMcCormick Forest Park is a 122-acre natural area located at 10301 Bujacich Road in Gig Harbor, Washington. This park is a popular tourist attraction with over four miles of trails that wind through old-growth Douglas Fir trees and offer stunning views of McCormick Creek. The park is home to abundant wildlife and offers foot, bicycle, and horse trails for visitors to enjoy. The park was established in 1996 when a large section of land was transferred to Pierce County from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for the purpose of creating a public park. Since then, additional parcels of land have been acquired and added to the park, including 23 acres obtained through a Pierce County Conservation Futures grant.
