"This little cafe is serving great quality coffee. They are using spices in their coffee that you must try! I haven't tried them all yet but I am coming back to taste them all. The place is clean and when you enter the store the smell of spices will welcome you. They have decent menu where you can see their specials that you must try."
"The bowls are unlike anything I've had before, very delicious. They are refreshing on a nice day. All food is made fresh on site. Coffee is high quality. I ordered the Cafe Jaiiya which for some odd reason tasted like lavender when it shouldn't have. They made me a cold brew to replace the original drink. I highly suggest sitting outside in the pretty courtyard. The interior is not super inviting. Personally I hate that the plastic containers can't be recycled!"
"Great little coffee shop with an excellent range of breakfast options with bowls and sandwiches that are also perfect for lunch. Vegetarians will be happy to find more options than can be found in the usual Seattle restaurants. Tucked in an attractive corner of the shopping area, it is a retail space on the ground floor of a new apartment building with a nice landscaped patio that extends dining area into the outdoors. I had a “Prosciutt of Happiness “ sandwich which was a croissant sandwich with lettuce, tomato, prosciutto and a poached egg with a delicious aioli. My dining partner had the avocado toast and pronounced it delicious though she felt the peppers were a bit spicier than she expected. Along with the selection of bowls comes range of smoothies, coffees and teas. We visits on a cooler day and found the small-ish dining area minimal but clean. It was a little chilly also and lost a star for that. Petty? Maybe, but the temp is all part of the vibe. Overall, a very good place for breakfast or lunch offering a superb variety of new food options."
"Such a tasty lil cafe! Jaiiya is a great find between Edmonds/Shoreline if you’re looking for an ~elevated~ coffee and breakfast (or lunch). The menu is full of interesting and flavorful dishes, like the Turkish eggs. They have the perfect amount of spice and it’s just a more unique dish compared to most standard cafe breakfasts. They have smoothies, sandwiches and toasts too. I always want to try something new, but I love the eggs! Their coffees have tons of options for add-ins and they have a variety of options, like my lavender cream cold brew. Overall the price point is great and I consider this a value, especially with the quality of food (for two poached Turkish eggs it’s only $9). If you’re in the area I highly recommend trying this place out, it doesn’t disappoint!"
"There really aren't that many places that serve acai bowls in Seattle, or even Washington, and so it excites me to find places that actually do make them because I love myself a super fresh and delicious acai bowl. I wanted to check this place out, and see what they're all about before driving down to school. Originally I was just gonna get an acai bowl, but I ended up also getting an avocado toast, and a prosciutt of happiness just because they looked super good, and it would help hold me over for the day. Man, when we were waiting for our food, and it was getting prepared, I could just smell the beautiful aroma of whatever they were making, even through my mask. It smelt so heavenly. I was just thinking, if the smell is anything like the flavors of the food, then I'm in for a real treat. Anyways, when we got our food, and opened up the box, it looked so beautiful, and so aesthetically pleasing, but also looked very appetizing. First off, the prosciutt of happiness. This was probably my favorite dish of the morning, but it was a close race witg the avocado toast. But, I really love the name of the dish. Anyways, that butter croissant that they used as the bread was phenomenal. I really didn't expect the actual croissant to be so flaky, buttery, and crisp. It definetly set the bar for the whole sandwich, but also on it's own, the croissant would be really good, and yall know I love some good croissants. Every other component in the sandwich was super fresh, and there were so many different textures, and aromas and flavors that all worked together in harmomy to make a really solid sandwich. You have the flakiness from the croissant, bitterness and frehsness from the arugala, and a creaminess and that pungent richness from the garlic, and herbiness from the basil. For my liking, there was a bit much aioli and so I just got a huge mouthful of cream. Just a lot going on, but a lot going good for the sandwich. Then of course, the prosciutto and that poached egg! The prosciutto added that salty component the sandwich needed to be complete, but that poached egg! The egg really elevated the dish, and finished what was already a solid sandwich off even better. It really was poached perfectly though, and, oh man, that egg yolk oozed out and coated everything (even my hand ) in a luscious golden sauce. It was delicious, and was quite delightful. Next, the avocado toast. I mean, this was a nother dish that was executed extremely well. But that walnut bread they used was SO crisp and crunchy, and also toasted to perfection. Everything else also worked in harmomy, plus you also have several different textures and flavors, but what I love most was the pop of color from the watermelom radish. Yes, it also added a freshnessnand a crunch but it made the avocado toast look more beautiful. Then of course the poached egg on top was also perfect and oozed all that glorious and luscious egg yolk all over like a luxurious sauce. Overall, really delicious as well. Finally, the acai bowl, "the classic..." To be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the acai bowl, and I really thought that was what they specialized in. It really could've been better in a couple places. I mean, it did taste very fresh, and all the fresh fruit were very fresh as well. The thing is, the actual acai part had an overpowering banana flavor, and I couldn't necessarily taste the acai. Also, I'm not a big fan with the acai part is liquidy, I really like it when it has that sorbet texture and you can kind of eat it like ice cream, but again that's just preference. I still finished it, but it kind of disappointed me because it's so hard to find a good acai bowl up in the PNW. If the toast and sandwich weren't so amazing, then I'm not sure if I would come here again. Overall, this is a really solid place, in a nice area, but of course there could be slight room for improvement, but I will definitely be checking this place out before school if it weren't for those sandwiches and toasts!"
