Washington MESA
Washington MESA, located at 1410 Northeast Campus Parkway in Seattle, Washington, is a university-based program aimed at increasing diversity in STEM fields. The program, administered by the University of Washington and established by the Washington State legislature, offers enrichment and access opportunities in mathematics, engineering, science, and technology for students in grades 6-12 and college students statewide. The College Prep Program helps middle and high school students become competitive college applicants, while the Transfer Prep Program assists college students in preparing for and advancing in STEM careers. Washington MESA also offers two scholarship opportunities, The Boeing Scholarship and The Weyerhaeuser Scholarship, providing up to $2,500 each. Donations to the "Washington MESA Fund" are welcomed to support more students pursuing STEM education.
