"Very small and completely shaded so it’s a bit dark even in the middle of the day. I would not go out of my way to go to this park."
"This is a small, shady playground area. If you head north on Madison Ave out of Winslow you'll see a sign on the right hand sign saying "Madison Tot Lot." Turn right there and you'll be on a U-shaped gravel drive. There are 4 parking spots, but I've never seen them full. The one small play structure is good for "tots." Easy slides, easy climbs. Say like 1.5 years (walking/stair climbing) to 4 years old. The swing set has 1 adult swing and 1 baby swing. Just south of the tot lot is a big blackberry patch which appears to be a public space."

"For parents or caregivers with toddlers, or neighborhood kids in general, or anyone who just needs a quiet place, MTL is a godsend. This little park is away from traffic and city noise, has shaded areas, places to sit (with more to come) and a sweet ambience the whole neighborhood appreciates. It's a bit hard to find, and parking is limited, but people from all over the Island use it. It's a treasure."
