"If I could give zero stars I would!! Me and my husband got a two night stay. At first glance looked fine so we dropped stuff off and went to do stuff. we get back late to actually stay and when we pulled the sheets back there were hair in the bed and on the tub. Floors were nasty. Then looked and there are black spots of mold on the pillows all of them. There were dirty towels and dirt piled up near the desk.When my husband checks out early as we did not stay the second day the lady at the desk was like was everything okay being y’all checking out early and he told her all the issues and she laughs and said yeah I don’t blame y’all. It was a waste of money and how can anyone run a hotel like that it’s disgusting. If I had the money I would have left the first night but I didn’t have the funds and was a long way from home. But glad I’m making that drive back now to sleep in my clean bed."

"I wish I could give this place negative stars. This stay was by far the worst experience I've had in my life. We travelled from New Jersey to visit Busch Gardens for the day and needed a place to stay. Little did we know what we would encounter at EconoLodge Williamsburg. As soon as you opened the door to enter the room you were greeted with a disgusting smell of MOLD, the ceiling looked like it had a major leak and was just painted over to cover up, one the plugs had short circuited and there was evidence of burn marks on the casing, the charging dock looked like it had never ever been cleaned and was sticky, the ‘clean’ bed had a variety stain marks, along with hairs from various parts of the body, not to mention the burn marks from cigarettes. It was truly a NIGHTMARE. We thought to ourselves ok we’ll just shower and sleep for a bit and check out first thing in the morning (keep in mind it was well past midnight by this point), that’s where it gets even worse. The bathtub was clogged up and the shower was leaking, all the dirt you wanted to wash off your body would literally fill up the basin, you ended up having a bath in what you wanted to remove from your body in the first place. We were DISGUSTED. Next morning, we went and spoke to the manager who had the audacity to tell us that we created the mess and did not even offer a refund for the absolute HORROR SHOW of a room they provided. By the way we were travelling with friends who had a separate room and they had the exact same issue in terms of DIRT, MOLD and overall cleanliness. Do not make the same mistake we did, avoid at all costs!!"

"It is, what it is. I found this hotel for 50 bucks online, when everything else was booked up. it's not the best, but it is definitely worth more than 50. If I ever need a place to stay in Williamsburg, and want to pinch a penny, this will be my choice."

"Socket where hair dryer was plugged in got very hot quickly and hairdryer was blowing smoke. Electric socket where nightstand is between beds does not work. Electric socket where lamp is plugged up is burnt and cannot use. Toilet was lose, shower couldn’t be used as shower head didn’t work as well as water not draining. Even the sir conditioner was no good, to hot to sleep. Pillows had to be balled up even to get anywhere close to being usable."
