"I brought my vehicle to Price’s for a leaking heater hose repair based on a recommendation from the dealership I purchased from less than a month ago. I dropped the vehicle off at 8am only to be informed 6 hours later that I “brought the wrong part.” The part I purchased was from a Ford dealership and matched my VIN, and was also approximately $60 less than the part they charged me for. I left my vehicle at their shop over night and had to arrange a ride back home. After receiving and looking over my vehicle the following evening, I see the same part number (Motorcraft KH914, alternate JL1Z18472B) stamped on the part they ordered, with the part I personally purchased and provided being identical to it. Additionally, while I do not have photographic proof, there are small nicks/scratches on the hood and driver’s door that I know were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, with an odor of cigarettes lingering inside the car. I would recommend seeking service from your manufacturer’s dealership for higher quality repairs or service."
