Volcano Island Waterpark

"From the outset, the place looks well run until you experience it. First of all, the big slides, my kid was allowed to use the big slides by one life guard and refused by another. The height meter on the bottom of the stairs shows my son at allowed height and some medieval wooden thing they use up at the top shows it differently. Can you get into the 21st century perhaps and get a normal height thing? Secondly, a lifeguard at the kiddy pool told me that my kid is not allowed to use a snorkel. Not the mask, a snorkel? Is it because your pool is nasty and not cleaned (see bathroom condition review below) or there’s some obscure logic no one but you guys can understand? Then, food options. You guys can do better especially since the price of admission is not cheap. Finally, the “icing on the cake” - bathrooms. The condition of the women’s restroom was nasty. I felt like I was at a trucker stop. It was disgusting to use the facilities - the smell and corresponding “flooding” of piss and water on the floor was probably to blame. You guys can do better."

"Had a wonderful visit today. While I was there a young girl was thought to be have been struggling to swim and the lifeguards quickly jumped into action. Then after this a child at the summer camp I work with misplaced his cross necklace. We went to the front desk to see if anybody had turned in this necklace and Ava (or Eva) I did not catch the spelling, quickly jumped into action and began looking for said necklace. It was found and returned to us which made this child very very happy! Thank you to the wonderful employees at volcano island!"

"Great value for price. My kids enjoyed non stop for like 6 hours. All pools are under 4.5 ft. Lifeguards are 100% paying attention. Food is pretty decent at accesible price. Only downside is you can’t access the two big water slides if you’re under 42” and they’re pretty strict about it, so take this into consideration so you don’t have a disappointed child."

"I haven't been here in years, but it's the same atmosphere. The lifeguards are very attentive. Many were getting upset because they kept blowing the whistle. No one should be running near a pool - walk do not run , no diving or horse playing in pool. They are just doing what they were trained to do, which is to prevent a drowning on their watch. It's $13 for facility access pass( for waterpark & golf course, but you must ask), or $13 if you just want to go to the water park area. It's something to do for everyone here, young or old. They also have a food shack with seating, and they also have seating outside of the park if you want to eat your food from home or other eateries before entering the park."

"Very safe water park with smartest safeguard team. Don’t bring any food here. There is locker room so prepare some quarters. Water bottle is ok. Cozy small scale water park. No shaded picnic area available unless it is reserved"
