Bea Arthur Dog Park
Bea Arthur Dog Park is a spacious and beautiful park located at 501 Front Street in Norfolk, Virginia, overlooking the water and next to PETA's headquarters. Named after the late honorary director Bea Arthur, the park features a water station, toy bin, shaded picnic area, and a pergola for shade and shelter. The park has simple rules to ensure safety while playing and does not offer access to the Elizabeth River to protect sensitive wildlife. Local dogs can be seen running and playing at the park, and occasionally special events or fundraisers take place there. The park is almost always open, but it's recommended to call ahead to confirm. If the park is closed, the neighboring Ben White Dog Park is available for use.
