Amarendra K. Neppalli, MD is a renowned hematologist and associate professor at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He specializes in plasma cell disorders and is the chief of plasma cell disorders and director of transplant and cellular therapy at The GW Medical Faculty Associates. Dr. Neppalli provides expert care for patients with blood cancer and those undergoing bone marrow transplants, with a focus on multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and stem cell transplant. Dr. Neppalli received his medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India and completed his residency and fellowship training at LSU Health Shreveport. He also completed a fellowship in bone marrow transplant at Stanford University before joining the faculty at the Medical University of South Carolina. During his time at MUSC, he led multiple clinical trials and served as the outpatient stem cell transplant director.
