Big Fish Cider Co. is a unique bar located at 59 Spruce Street in Monterey, Virginia, offering a variety of ciders made from locally-grown apples using traditional techniques. Our ciders range from off-dry to semi-sweet blends, as well as seasonal offerings. We have received numerous awards for our high-quality ciders, including recognition from the Great Lakes Cider and Perry Competition, the Good Food Award, and a Made in Virginia Award. At Big Fish Cider Co., we take pride in pressing apples on-site, many of which come from our own orchards in Highland County. Our slow and cold fermentation process preserves the essence of the apples, and we age our ciders post-fermentation to allow the flavors to mature. Our ciders are naturally gluten-free and some are fermented as single variety blends.
