The Virginia Museum of Transportation, Inc. is located in downtown Roanoke's historic freight station and has been preserving the Commonwealth's transportation history since 1963. As the Commonwealth's Official Transportation Museum, we house an impressive collection of steam, diesel, and electric locomotives.
