Riverview Park
Riverview Park, located at 1909 Chesapeake Street in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a picturesque 26.6-acre park that borders the river. Originally donated by Riverview Cemetery in 1974, the park was renovated in 1989 and has since become a popular tourist attraction. The park features a large paved parking area, a kiosk, a playground, benches, and an open field, making it an ideal spot for picnics and family outings. Visitors can enjoy walking, jogging, biking, fishing, or simply observing wildlife along the adjacent Rivanna Trail. The park is open from 6AM to 9PM daily.
