W&OD Trailhead
The W&OD Trailhead is located at 209 State Route 690 in Purcellville, Virginia, United States. This park is part of the Washington and Old Dominion Railroad Regional Park and offers a 45-mile paved trail for running, cycling, and skating. Equestrians can also enjoy a 32-mile gravel horse trail. The park has multiple parking areas for easy access to the trail. Visitors can become a Friend of the W&OD Trail to support maintenance and enhancements. The park is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Additional amenities include Climb UPton, the largest ropes course in the Mid-Atlantic, and summer camps for kids.
