Peninsula Driving School LLC in Newport News, Virginia offers behind the wheel training for both teens and adults. Our 7-day program includes full transportation services for pick-up and drop-off. Teens must have prior driving experience and be comfortable behind the wheel. The course covers basic driving skills and defensive driving tactics. On the last day, teens take the DMV road test with our instructor and receive a temporary driver's license upon successful completion. For adults, we offer a mandatory 7-day behind the wheel training program for those 19 and older. Adults age 18 must have a valid learner's permit and finish certificate from a certified 36-hour classroom course. Upon completion, adults receive a finish certificate that can be turned in to the DMV to receive their license.
