Aikido RVA South, located at 11617 Busy Street in Richmond, Virginia, is an affiliate dojo of Wadokai/Suenaka-Ha Tetsugaku-Ho Aikido. Our instructors, including Christine Golden Shihan, are highly ranked in Dan (black belt) and provide traditional Aikido training with a focus on ki development, falling practice, and practical self-defense techniques. We follow a traditional format with bow-ins and proper etiquette in our classes. We are currently located at Mongrel Fitness Gym in N. Chesterfield, where we offer the opportunity to join other martial arts such as BJJ, Judo, and Muy Thai.
