The playground features a ship replica, swing areas, and two zip lines for kids to enjoy. In addition to the playground, Veterans Park also offers various amenities such as an indoor multipurpose room, a 0.6-mile paved ADA accessible multiuse trail, sand volleyball courts, lighted basketball courts, and pickleball courts. Visitors can also enjoy Wi-Fi connectivity, an off-leash dog area, and plenty of open space to relax and play.
Veterans Park
Veterans Park is a beautiful 19-acre park located at 3793 Ironbound Road in Williamsburg, Virginia, United States. This park is not only a popular tourist attraction, but also a place of remembrance and honor for those who served in the Vietnam War. The park is home to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial monument, donated by local resident David Hooker in 1993. In addition to the memorial, Veterans Park also features Kidsburg, a 30,000-square-foot lighted playground with separate play areas for children of different ages, a ship replica, swing areas, and 2 zip lines. The park offers various amenities such as an indoor multipurpose room, a paved ADA accessible multiuse trail, sand volleyball courts, lighted basketball courts, pickleball courts, Wi-Fi connectivity, and an off-leash dog area.
Chickahominy Riverfront Park
Chickahominy Riverfront Park is a campground, lodging, and park located at 1350 John Tyler Highway in Williamsburg, Virginia, United States. The park features over 80 campsites, including sites for large groups, with some offering scenic views of Gordon Creek. Campsites range from basic tent sites to full hookup sites for RVs, with 2 bathhouses available for campers to use. Campers can reserve sites up to 12 months in advance, with a 3-night minimum stay required for holiday weekends. Timberline Glamping Company also offers luxury glamping tents with amenities such as queen size beds, air conditioning, and a deck overlooking Gordon Creek. In addition to camping, the park offers a 290-foot lighted fishing pier, a catch-and-release pond, and a boat ramp for personal watercraft. Canoe and kayak rentals are available year-round. The park store sells a variety of supplies including snacks, bait and tackle, and camping gear. Storage options are available on a monthly basis for $100 a month.
Powhatan Creek Park and Blueway
Powhatan Creek Park and Blueway is a picturesque tourist attraction located at 1831 Jamestown Road in Williamsburg, Virginia, United States.
