Located at 4400 University Drive in Fairfax, Virginia, the Debate institution at George Mason University was founded in 1974 and has a rich history of excellence in research and advocacy. The Mason Debate Team is consistently ranked in the top five programs in the country by various debate associations. The team aims to make debate accessible to debaters of all skill levels, from novice to nationally competing varsity debaters. They also host the largest middle school and high school debate camp in Virginia, offering classes in policy style debate for students in grades 6-12.
