Our dance center is one of the largest on the East coast, with four spacious studios equipped with viewing windows for parents to observe their child's progress. Our skilled faculty has helped students achieve acceptance into prestigious ballet companies, modern companies, Broadway show companies, cruise lines, and universities on full scholarships.

"At the time I danced with ADB there was a pervasive and toxic culture about unhealthy body standards. Girls who weren’t rail thin were considered “not serious enough” about dance. Midsize dancers who were skilled and talented were overlooked for roles consistently. Most of the teachers are really skilled. I learned a lot from them. Some of them could be very harsh, and a couple of them downright cruel at times. When I broke my foot during a summer intensive I was ignored and left behind in the classroom with zero help from teachers. I crawled out of the building by myself (at age 14) and called a friend to come get me and take me to the ER. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend ADB for those who are looking for an inclusive, body-positive environment."
"We love ABD! It has highly skilled teachers and staff; all of whom are fantastic role models for young women. My daughters have been attending for several years and it is a second home for them. I so appreciate the modest costumes and can trust that all music and dance movements are appropriate for all ages. Recommend highly!!"
"Just came back from having my daughter “assessed” for ballet classes. The woman who saw us told my daughter that she “was just ordinary” and “nothing special.” She told me that “she should focus her energy on something else.” (This is all directly in front of my daughter, who had tears in her eyes.) I thought I was in the twilight zone. My daughter was SO excited to start dance. I was ready to pay for lessons, private lessons... anything and everything. I drove 10 minutes down the road and enrolled her in a summer camp and classes for the summer at another studio. If this woman talks to a random child in this manner, I would hate to hear how she talks to her students."
"Daughter has been attending ADB since 2011, staff are great, no pressure for attaining point and instructors always work with children an parents on how to improve. We are thankful that the academy continues to grow an improve. Truly blessed to have our daughter attend and dance for the one true Lord. Thank you."
