Monticello at Powhatan Apartments

"We moved to Monticello at Powhatan on a whim. We had just sold our home and needed to move quickly and choose Williamsburg for our family. We didn't know the area nor ever seen the apartments. We where really blown away with how nice and charming these where when we 1st pulled in with our uhaul truck. They don't have the typical apartment feeling to them at all. It's more like a community that you will LOVE! Super dog friendly. Clean. Nice landscaping. A newly renovated clubhouse that has all kinds of fun events and parties. My teenagers love their schools which is super important to me! They also love stopping by the clubhouse after school and making themselves a hot chocolate or getting a snack from the front office staff. Becky, Vivianne and Adrianna the front office ladies really make you feel welcomed. I must also mention how easy and seamless they made the process of moving here. Anytime I've had a question or needed anything they were right there and easy to deal with. I haven't experience many issues in my 3 years here but when I do need the occasional assistance the Maintenance team jumps right on it. It really has been a pleasure to deal with Joe, Josiah and Chris they are very knowledgeable and have always taken care of any issues promptly. We originally only planned on living here a year but it's became home to us. We've made some great friendships in our community and plan on staying a few more years until we decided on where we want to buy another home at. I usually don't write reviews but I feel the team at Monticello at Powhatan really needs to be recognized with how they truly go above and beyond any expectations and with genuine kindness."

"Moved into the community September 2023. Although I haven’t been here long I can still say it’s the best apartment complex I’ve had the privilege of living in. The staff is friendly, neighborhood is clean, and apartments are cozy. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment near all of the best Williamsburg, VA has to offer. Special thank you to the head of staff Becky, who lead the charge in making me feel as though I was coming home when arriving at Monticello at Powhatan."

"My 1 bedroom unit is absolutely beautiful. Location is great; walking distance to shopping. The complex maintains a tranquil environment (quiet, ample green spaces/trees, birds, water feature). The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind!"

"This is a great place to live. First of all, the inside and outside of the house are well-organized, comfortable, and safe. The people here are so nice and kind. Geographical conditions are good, so there is a market place within a 5-minute walk, and within a 15-minute drive, there are several historic sites, William & Mary University, regional library, art museum, Colonial Williamsburg, and beautiful golf courses. Above all, the community center staff who manage this place are so friendly and great, from manager to maintenance staff. In particular, Vivianne, an assistant manager, has warmly welcomed us from the day my family and I first moved here, helping us settle in Williamsburg. I'd like to thank her. My family and I would like to come back here if we can live in Williamsburg again. Once again, thank you to the management."
