Small Business Development Center
The Small Business Development Center at Radford University, located at 701 Tyler Avenue in Radford, Virginia, is a vital resource for regional businesses in the New River Valley. In partnership with the Roanoke Regional SBDC, the center offers business advising, counseling, and training to small businesses and startups. By hosting an office within the Davis College of Business and Economics, the SBDC is able to provide pro bono assistance to help businesses thrive and succeed. With a focus on economic development and community partnerships, Radford University is committed to strengthening the region's economic landscape. Through the SBDC, more than 300 clients were served in 2018, resulting in over $3.2 million in capital investment for client businesses. This valuable resource is made possible through funding from the Small Business Administration and local community support.
