Our mission is to bring the art of dance to the community while honoring its historical roots and pioneers. We provide well-rounded dance education and training to build confidence, instill discipline, and strengthen endurance in our students. Dance is a universal language that unifies us all. Founded by Jasmine Machel Perkins in 2014, Faith With Works School of Dance offers various genres of dance to children and adults of all levels. Our programs are rooted in faith and aim to impact lives in the Hampton Roads Area. Through generous donations, we are able to provide scholarships to those in need and offer community outreach programs.

We offer a wide range of dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Acrobatics, and Creative Movement. At Poquoson Dance Academy, we believe in providing quality instruction to help our students build technique, discipline, and confidence. Our dance season runs from September to June, with a year-end recital to showcase our dancers' hard work and progress. We accept registrations year-round and also offer summer classes in July and August.
