Fairbanks Inn

"Booked a room days in advance to have them cancel it at the last second saying they were over booked and didn't tell us earlier because the person was sick apparently they only one person runs the hotel ? Which makes no sence, was left sleeping in our car on our trip since every other hotel was full. Drove by and there weren't more then 4 cars their extremely unsatisfied DO NOT RECOMMEND! Zero stars since it won't let you let you put zero stars"

"Worst experience... long story short, no pool or hot tub on-site like we were assured by the lady on the phone who scheduled our stay from the reservation desk. Online they advertise for a pool, free wifi, and TV .Wi-Fi is secured and requires a password , TV with only ONE channel Volume doesn't work AT ALL, no pamphlet for anything such as a map of site or wifi password> anywhere to be found. Our bed sheets, blankets, and pillows were dirty with dirt, stains, etc. I was able to get a password for wifi after going to lobby and inquiring but also complained about the volume on our one channel TV which the same gentleman responded with " i know.., im sorry". Lastly, to top it off, there is a non refund policy..... needless to say I have a letter ill be handing in with our room key upon check out in the a.m, an email of complaints and experience, a complaint work order in with the reservation desk, with no tip upon checkout. I am expecting a FULL refund for our one night stay from 11p.m to 7 a.m and will not be referring anyone nor returning myself to this Inn again....."

"My fiancé and I aren't the kind that typically book hotels to just spend time there on our travels. We usually just look at reviews to find a place that's a decent place to rest our heads after long travel that is comfy, safe and no bugs. This place is all of that. It by no means has frills or is anything extravagant but we had a nice stay. Easy to get to and we felt very safe. Room was spacious. Continental breakfast includes bagels, waffle maker, cereal and some fruit which for us was sufficient. Only reason for giving it 4 stars was the dead bolt was broken on our door so it did lock but didn't have that extra step in protection. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay"

"On the upside, the rooms are spacious and outfitted with nice amenities. The location is quiet, and nearby a convenience store is open 24/7. On the downside, the cleanliness is subpar, as the accompanying photograph shows. Worse yet, the inn's main attraction is its pool, and that was closed for the whole season. This place needs some serious TLC!"

"Unfortunately no AC in the room and I think the carpet should be replaced and the rooms painted as even though it is now a no smoking room, it smelled like musty ashtray. Other than that. Great price, reasonably clean, and convenient location for our overnight road trip stop."
