The resident theater company, Shaker Bridge Theater, also partners with JAM to provide the community with rental opportunities during the available weeks between their own productions. With a seating capacity of 240, the Briggs Opera House provides a versatile and intimate performance space for various arts groups. The theater, originally founded in the 1890s as the Gates Opera House, was reopened in 1985 after being used as retail space for many years.
