Giant Steps Autism Preschool, located at 921 North 1240 East Street in Orem, Utah, is a specialized day-treatment program for preschool-aged children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. The institution has six classrooms with a capacity of 12 children each, serving a total of 72 preschoolers and their families. Giant Steps partners with local school districts to provide Special Education services in a typical school environment. The program operates Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, following the school district schedule throughout the year and continuing into June with a summer program in July. Children must be between the ages of 3-5 and have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder to be eligible for enrollment.
