RAYUS Radiology

"Got rear-ended while in a rideshare and was referred to get an MRI to evaluate my cervical spine. Process was fairly smooth. Radiologist report comes back, stating "no fractures". I'm a healthcare provider and fortunately have access to software that allows me to read DICOM files. Full disclosure, I'm a dentist and am not super well-versed in spinal diagnoses but one of my vertebrae (C6) certainly appeared fractured. I've included a slice from my MRI for your viewing pleasure. I tried calling the radiologist because I understand that we are all human and sometimes things are missed, but given that it was from a car accident I needed accurate documentation. I was told "we don't let patients speak to the radiologists." I sought an evaluation at a very decorated spinal surgeon in the area who confirmed my fears - C6 was very likely fractured where I suspected (red arrow) and potentially in a second location as well (Lamina process). It's troubling to know that patients who don't have the software to read these images would just have to take the radiologist report (and their inability to discuss/review any findings) as fact. It's unfortunate the radiologists couldn't take my call, probably would've taken all of 5 minutes. I give all my patients my cell number and get back to them within 24 hours - after all we signed up for healthcare to take care of people right? Whatever, I tried - perhaps they'll just prefer to speak to the Utah Board of Radiology about it when they call."

"I have updated my review to 2 stars. I havr had a mixed bag of experiences here. If the only thing you care about is a clean image for an MRI or CT scan, then they accomplished that. If you want attentive cx service do not come here. The majority of staff I interacted with are rude, unprofessional, and discriminatory. I am not even sure what they are discriminating anout me, my insurance coverage? My pink hair or polished nails? My name change? Who knows? But even after complaining to management about a dismissive staff that avoided my phone calls, but answered immediately if I called from an unknown number. I have been hung up on, deadnamed repeatedly even after a very soft correction, from multiple staff members, I have seen snickers and heard the staff disrespecting me seemingly out of earshot. I had a positive experience with Victor over the phone, and not everyone tried to deadname me, but some staff members, even after a gentle reminder, seemingly purposefully were trying to get a reaction out of me. I do not like to throw around the term discrimination, and without the amount of times I have been disrespected here I cannot believe they are all coincidence or naive Edit: This entry is when I had another experience here, this was the 5 star review. I from Dayana is the reason this company is getting 5 stars, and for no other reason. I experienced a less than stellar treatment from the othrler members of staff, but Dayana's persistence, patience, and kindness are the hallmark standards in which healthcare customer servive should be for everyone. My surgery has been plagued with delays, miscommunications, more delays, and unproffessional or inhumane providers, but this visit was very different. Thank you so much, sincerely Val and Calyx"

Shout out to my Technician, Alli, who did a wonderful job ! Helped me by letting me go feet first into the MRI and really did everything I asked to relieve my claustrophobia.
