Echo State Park, located at 2115 Echo Dam Road in Coalville, Utah, offers a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities including camping, boating, and fishing. The park has a rich history dating back to the Great Depression when the dam and reservoir were constructed for agricultural irrigation. Today, local residents operate the recreation concessions for the reservoir and resort on the property. During the winter months, campsites are first come first serve, but cottages can still be reserved through Reserve America. Some park facilities may be closed for winterization. Reservations for camping are available starting May 1st, four months in advance.
