The Church Office Building, located at 50 East North Temple Street in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the administrative hub for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Standing at 420 feet tall with 28 stories, it is the second-tallest building in Salt Lake City. Designed by architect George Cannon Young, the building was completed in 1972 and officially dedicated on July 24, 1975. While not open to the public, the Church Office Building houses support staff involved in various church operations such as communications, welfare, humanitarian work, family history, genealogy, missionary efforts, and production of church-related materials.
