Art information plaque in Utah

The Spiral Jetty Information Plaque is a travel agency located in Corinne, Utah, United States. The agency provides information about Spiral Jetty, an earthwork sculpture created by American sculptor Robert Smithson in April 1970. The sculpture, located on the northeastern shore of the Great Salt Lake near Rozel Point, is made of mud, salt crystals, and basalt rocks, forming a 1,500-foot-long counterclockwise coil. Depending on the water level of the lake, the sculpture may be visible or submerged. Spiral Jetty is now mostly white against pink due to salt encrustation. In 1999, the artwork was donated to the Dia Art Foundation. Visitors can learn about the history and significance of Spiral Jetty at the information plaque, as well as explore the surrounding area.
