"I have lived here for almost a year now and it's been the worst apartment yet. Since I moved in in April I kid you not I have had a giant roach issue (American roaches according to pest control) every two weeks. I hate bugs so I have been thoroughly traumatized and management has yet to do anything about this. Pest control tries to spray area and lay traps and that is no help. In addition to not feeling comfortable in my own home, the elevator is always broken, halls are dirty, flooding on the first floor due to some technical issues. Also there has been a foul smell when you run the water here and maintenance claims that's normal and no fix and to let it run. I also put in maintenance requests and they don't get filled unless I call front desk weeks later and tell them about the issue. I've had a mold problem and they completely brushed over it. Also the gates are constantly not working and the electronic fob pad entry (whatever they're called) never works. When I moved in they said they only use Just in mobile yet some residents have actual fobs and getting into the building or even the gym has been a hassle where other residents have had to open it up for me. Another things is when I moved in the unit never went through a final clean and when told about it they said it was because it has been sitting since they last did it... there was dirt and debris under the sinks and in cabinets... Oh and if you have guests there is supposed to be a call box yet my number still isn't programmed to it and it doesn't work. So good luck with inviting people over. In conclusion, I wouldn't move here. Sucks cus the price and actual unit was nice but everything else made my living here unbearable."

"Ms.Thomas is AMAZING!! Not only is she the nicest lady but made the whole experience so enjoyable! She goes above and beyond for you. Not to mention the location itself is to die for!! I’ve never had that with another apartment complex, she really made this place a 10/10!"

"This is my second year living at The Dacoma. The ambience in this building is very unique, very lush, with tropical-beach vibes. It's really nice. Although, the architecture, design and decor of the building are superb, the quality of the construction materials are on the cheap side. The building is fairly new and it's already deteriorating, especially the floors, which are bubbling and peeling off. We have a a private security guard at night which gives me a sense of safety in rough city like Houston. We recently changed managers and I'm seeing clear improvements in communication between the office and tenants. Also, they seem to care more about the overall management of the building which is nice. The only thing that I dislike about this building is the access system. The doors tend to become faulty frequently, hopefully they can change to a different security system that is more reliable."

"Wow what great service I received today at Dacoma. I have been shopping for a community all week and this by far has been the cleanest and most unique place that I’ve seen so far. I was Greeted my a gentleman name Daniel and he was super inviting, informative, kind and funny. He even offered me refreshments and I thought that was very sweet of him. Although it seemed he was super busy he stopped everything to help me and I appreciate it. He made my tour fun and learned so much about the community without asking any questions. I loved how throughout the tour he was super hospitable towards everyone we encounter and it gave me that he really cared about the residents and the community creating an environment I felt considered to be home. The office super busy and people was coming up asking many question, but he still managed to make me feel that I was valued as a future potential resident. Koodos to you Daniel and thank you for placing a smile on my face. We will meet again."
