"Jade Ly is consistently good with their food. Whether you are getting takeout or dining in, rest assured that your food will be delicious! The service is super fast which is nice when you have a hungry little. Their portions are generous and well priced! Overall solid place for a meal!"
"As an Asian I typically avoid eating Chinese outside of Chinatown. They tend to be westernized and therefore lose much of its authenticity. However, based on a friend’s recommendation I decide to give this place a try. I am glad I did. After being seated I asked the Asian server what she considered to be the restaurant’s best dishes, keeping in mind the I usually go to Chinatown. She gave me a bunch of recommendations and assured me that some of the dishes are better here. Of the dishes that I ordered the 2 that blew me away we’re the fish maw soup and the Ma Po tofu. The former was packed full of flavor and probably the best I’ve tasted and the latter was full of umami, although a little spicier than I’m used to. I’d come back just for those two. I also had the green beans with minced chicken. The salted shrimps without the shell was ok. The breading was thicker than I’d like. Overall the dishes was a pleasant surprise and now I’m happy to have a Chinese cafe so closed to home. I’d come back to try other dishes. 2024 updates: Kung Pao Chicken: this was really good. Sauce reminded me of the MaPo tofu which is probably why I like this version."
"Very good. We had the Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein and chicken wings. Everything was delicious."
"Amazing food and service! Both the Chicken corn soup and Hot and Sour soup are amazing. Their dishes always have a healthy amount of veggies such as Broccoli or Zucchini along with the meat, making a great combination and nice flavor. Service was also great, we called ahead and they kept a table reserved for us when we arrived. Food was ready in 10 to 15 minutes."
"Dined in and the service was very fast and good. Food we ordered was so good, and everything tasted fresh and came out hot. This is certainly one of the top halal Chinese places in Houston."
