Vuylsteke Home, located at 1831 Lakeshore Drive in Port Arthur, Texas, is a historic institution that was built in 1905 by J.E. Alexander for Adrianus Jacobus Maria Vuylsteke. Originally owned by the Vuylsteke family, the house was later sold to John Tryon, who was the mayor of Port Arthur from 1917 to 1921. After changing ownership multiple times, the home was eventually bought by the Port Arthur College Foundation in 1986 and restored to its former glory.
