There are walking / biking trails through the woods that are dog friendly Only draw backs are no shade for the playground and no restrooms”

“This is such a great park. They have multiple shows and events throughout the year. From ACL to the Kite Festival. Also has trails that run around the park. Which are cool to walk the dogs on. Also has great views for downtown. Check it out and enjoy the great weather.”

“This is our 3rd year in a row visiting River Bluff and we love everything! The upgrades and additions that included the basketball slab, steps and large stones for the cabins, and the new stone tables area around the big tree look beautiful! Our kids and friends make great memories every year and we look forward to going back every year ☺️”

“The whole park is awesome, but the splash pad is definitely the highlight! I love that the ground is not concrete, so if the kids slip, there’s a little bit of cushion for the fall. It has a nice big playground, with lots of picnic tables scattered around the park. It’s a great park to check out if you’re in the area!”

“Beautiful. Highly recommend driving to the end of the park and walking around the waterfalls area! We had a lovely time, the temperatures were perfect (low 80s in February). Bring plenty of water, and be safe on the rocks, though!”

“Went early Sunday Morning around 7:30am. The walking trail is great. Love this place, plenty of exercise equipment to choose from... I will say I wish people that took their four legged babies on the trail would clean up after them, but that has nothing to do with the park just inconsiderate humans.”

“Nice clean well kept park, Bathrooms were very clean. The trails were very nice, wish the trails got closer to the river though. The playground should maybe have sunscreen, its full sun so make sure you pack sunscreen and water for the kiddos for sure. Can also refill water bottle at the fountain by the bathrooms .”

“I love this park and one of the reasons why I moved here. It's peaceful and spacious. I walk with my dogs here and do a few runs. If you walk a loop of the entire perimeter of the park, that is 1-mile. Beware: There are snakes here and I've seen a few. Stay on the paths.”

“I went here as a gift, and I have to say I had a very nice time! I had my spa day scheduled on a Monday, but one of the masseuses had to cancel and they rescheduled my appointment to Wednesday. I was offered two additional add-ons for free, which I gladly took. They supply you with a robe and have some nice tea and water complimentary for you to wait between services. I had Danielle for my massage and she did such a great job, and was such a friendly person. I had Sydnee for my facial and she did such a good job too. Overall a good experience.”

“I really wish there were 6 or more starts because this hotel knocks it "totally" out of the park! EVERYTHING was perfect! The decor immediately captures your attention, as you enter what is now called "The Parker Hotel". The help at the desk are very friendly, inviting and helpful. I stayed here twice, and both times all of the staff, including those who clean up the rooms, "all of them" were very courteous, inviting, warm and friendly! The showers had great water pressure, they weren't too small, and the towels were big, thick and soft! The bathrooms were well layed out. The beds were huge, with the most inviting fluffy sheets and pillows you ever experienced! There was a nice couch to watch TV with, a desk to work at, and THE BEST hotel room refrigerator I've ever seen. Ample room down below AND up in the freezer, for just about anything! They even have their own coffee bar there, for special drinks made to order! I'll be staying there again! And when plans changed and I had to stay another couple of days, they had an in-house laundromat for me to do my clothes in! P. S. Thanks to my hosts, the Grace Christian Fellowship church, for pointing me in this direction, and for picking up the cost of my stay. THIS HOTEL was an excellent choice!”

“We absolutely love this place. If you are looking for a spot to throw a party or host really any type of event they have you covered. Also a great spot for a gals night out or a romantic night with a honey. Several different options and spaces to meet any needs one might have. Andrew the sales and events manager is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond. I threw my father a birthday party at the opera house and it was a slam dunk. Andrew was accommodating and patient and I just could not have asked for anything more. The location itself is great, it’s not too far and food and shopping is super close by. Obviously wimberley is stunning and the river is right across the way. Every cabin has a beautiful view of the water, the staff is super chill and the whole vibe is right. Looking forward to our next party for the kiddos! Can’t say enough!”

“This zoo is worth the money! I enjoyed how friendly the staff is and how the animals look well taken care of. Clean and spacious for big families to spend their weekends. I was able to see the whole zoo in 3 hours.”

“The bad: Run like it's 1985, decent but not great. The good: maybe the best lap pool in America, beautiful spring water, sunset view, absolutely epic overall, super glad to have it!”

“This section of the zoo was simply stunning! The animals were still out at dusk when I went for the Christmas lights festivities. I got to year the lion roaring. It's an experience! I got there a few minutes too late to feed the giraffes, but they were friendly creatures and walked right up to me looking for food. Amazing for the whole family!”

“Nice, fun, challenging course. It's covered in trees, so step your game up! Keep your throws on the fairway so you don't have to worry about the tall rough areas. The holes are pretty close together, so you don't have to walk far between holes. A couple of the holes sorta overlap, so heads up to others throwing or people walking the parks trails. Udisc app is helpful to navigate between the ones that are a little further apart. Have fun”
