"I've stayed here before and everything was fine, but not the last time. The room had a musty smell and the air conditioning did not cool the room cooler than the outside temperature. There is also a $7.58 charge for parking in their own lot. I wasn't asked if I had a car to park and there is no reason to charge for parking at this property. The hotel next door also has plenty of parking and does not charge for the privilege of staying with them."

"This place was a 5 star all around. Even though The Marriott is one of my favorite hotels to stay at this location Customer service was so awesome every worker here was so friendly and they all interacted with us and was so helpful. We are a traveling recording gospel choir so we were here to minister at a church nearby. Our choir name is Joel Jones and 3MC and we are from the great state of Louisiana. Houston is a place we visit a lot so we will be looking forward to staying here again."
"This hotel is great!! My wife and I almost exclusively stay at Marriott properties, with Courtyard usually a top choice for us. Coming from 2 people who work in hospitality for over 10 years, specifically hotels, this hotel has yet disappoint us. Service is always great and everyone is super friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Don't be fooled by the petty, bad reviews. This hotel is fantastic and will always be our choice when we come to Houston."
