Village on Memorial Townhomes

"I’ve lived here for 2 weeks and I like my apartment so far. The location is great. Tenants have our private pathway to the trail. It’s very easy to get on I-10 yet so quiet within the gated community. I like the size and privacy of having my own garage. The public area is well maintained. Although you can tell the interior no longer looks new and modern, it doesn’t affect my living experience all that much after the maintenance team fixed the issues I raised. By the way, the maintenance staff are very friendly. Mark, Andy and George have been super helpful and responsive to my maintenance requests. Chaimae and Mike at the front office are also very nice and helped me set up all the required apps on my phone with great patience."

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The Neighbors are very nosy. The leasing people to Maintenance people lack of getting stuff done. I lived there for 1 year asked for doorbell day I moved in never got it, took weeks to get other stuff done that was spouse to be done before I moved in, I even had to clean the place up myself had mold around the house. I moved out recently n they charged me 2k for carpet, 300 cleaning fee even after I paid a maid to clean the whole place up. N other random charges too 4k. There money hungry. Highly would not recommend living here."

"I appreciate the favorable aspects of my residing experience, particularly the favorable location and layout of my unit. In considering these factors alone, I would easily assign a rating of 4 or more stars. However, my overall rating is tempered to 3 stars due to my interactions with the front desk agent, Shay, whose name I believe to be accurate, though I apologize if spelled incorrectly. Since my recent move-in, I've encountered some communication discrepancies with Shay. The energy conveyed during our interactions has been less than optimal, which has impacted my overall satisfaction. Even during visits to the office post-move-in for clarifications on matters concerning the unit, such as necessary repairs, I sensed discomfort in her dealings with me. This discomfort has dissuaded me from visiting the office if this is the recurring experience. I acknowledge Shay's relatively short tenure at Villages. However, irrespective of the learning curve she navigates, I believe that my queries should not elicit discomfort. The initial interaction is pivotal, and I remain hopeful that future interactions will improve or that alternative staff members can assist, making the overall experience more seamless. It is important to me that I do not feel as though my inquiries are met with a lack of willingness to assist, especially given my respectful approach. Other than that, I am in love with the community so far. Energy corridor is a great location to move if you are new to Houston!"

"I had a pleasant experience with leasing staff here. They were really helpful. I have just moved to USA back then and had no credit history. But the leasing agent(Chaimae) that I have worked with was very patient and helpful to make it work. The Apartment was nice as I expected and it’s a quiet and calming area to live in."

"I have lived here for almost 3 years. The property is beautiful and has been since day one but Katrina, the more than capable new manager of VOM, is making even more stunning changes to the property. The last guard left leaving much in disrepair and Katrina has had her work cut out but she has made great strides and I think there's even more good stuff to come. I have nothing but good things to say about this property and the people managing it."
