Dr. Verst, a Fort Worth native, values the lifelong relationships she builds with families, just like the one she had with her childhood doctor. After completing her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Dr. Verst returned to Austin for residency at the University of Texas Dell Medical School. During her training, she received a teaching award for creating a positive learning environment for medical students.
