VISOR Clinic, located on Sheenan Avenue in Houston, Texas, is a healthcare institution dedicated to providing comprehensive rehabilitation programs for Veterans and service members experiencing vision loss. The clinic uses a team approach to assess each individual's strengths, needs, and personal goals in order to enhance their independence and quality of life. Services are primarily provided at the clinic, but may also be offered in the community or at the Veteran's home within a 50-mile radius. Eligible individuals can be referred to the VISOR Program through VA Healthcare or by registering at one of their healthcare facilities. The clinic also offers a five-day training program for Veterans who are unable to travel for regularly scheduled appointments.
