“Charming bar with wine, spirits, and beer. Nathan & Taylor are very friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcomed. George (owner) is a sweetheart and talks to every table to ensure satisfaction. Sitting in the "sun room" (lower level with 3 walls of huge windows) is beautiful in the late afternoon. 2 TVs to watch STROS play ball, or other sports teams. Love the Swiss cheese on the toasted Rebel Yell sandwich. Tried the Haggis & Mash which is "mom's recipe" and discovered harmony combining all 3 components (ground lamb, mashed turnips, mashed taters) in 1 bite. The meat pie is a very good snack too. Laid back folks to raise a glass (or 2) with.”

“My favorite pub in the Austin area. It's a retreat, a hideaway, totally unassuming from the exterior and totally welcoming inside. I'm no spring chicken, but I'm usually the youngest patron when I go. And I like that! Everyone's chill and friendly and safe. In addition to the beer and wine selection, I quite like the food as well. The crispy chicken sandwich with homemade potato chips is perfect. Also, one time they had a marinara burger as a special. Life-changing.”

“Big Mike from VFW invited us to the bar after the wrestling event. He purchased the first round of drinks. Later that evening.. Kamikazes were sent to the table by another gentleman The guys treated us awesomely. The waitress was super cool and took great care of us. We had our championship belts and the patrons loved them. They wanted to hold them and take pix. Some of the TASW wrestlers came in later that night. Great Bodhi.. Nighthawk.. Yohynnes Joseph and IIan X the Cruiserweight Champ. Ring Announcer Steven Steller was in the house. LTs staff and TASW are class acts.”

We were concerned and apprehensive since it’s a dive bar in Texas where we were clearly a minority. All I can say is that I am in awe of the hospitality and kindness of not only our amazing bartender Erica, but the rest of the customers. “The best crawfish I have had this year, other cook wasn't there so I was leary, oh man, the best. This only on a Sunday. They offer shrimp, crablegs, garlic, mushrooms, eggs. This is a must go to place. Super friendly staff, the owner is a sweetheart, always checking on you and saying hello.”

“I went to bring in 2024. The cover charge that included Champagne and a Buffet was a little much considering what was offered in the Buffet and how little Champagne I got. There was a live band, the lack of clarity in their speakers took away from the performance. The atmosphere was very nice. I will return again for future events.”

And there's a huge selection of flavors available - such as blood orange, lychee, guava, prickly pear, passion fruit, etc. I'll definitely be back!”
