"1/25/24 Update: The in-person wait times have consistently increased since we started coming here in early 2023. Initially we would see the doctor only 15-20 mins after our appointment time. By the end of 2023 that was up to 30-45 mins. On our last visit we had an appointment at 2pm and didn't see the doctor until 3:15pm. On a positive note, the wait time for phone calls seems to have improved. 1/2/24 Update: The practice manager called me shortly after posting my review to address my concerns which was greatly appreciated. They recently streamlined their incoming phone call process which should greatly reduce hold times. Let's hope this is the case! ORIGINAL REVIEW: This location is good for routine check ups and wellness visits. The doctors and nurses are friendly and the wait is usually 15-30 minutes past your appointment time which isn't too unreasonable for a doctor's office. The office is also clean and well maintained. However, it's nearly impossible to reach anyone over the phone. You'll sit on hold forever and are lucky to get connected. The same goes for the "24/7" nurses phone line. On a good day you may get a call back within 24 hours, but there have been many occasions where they called us back days after our child's illness was already over if they even called us back at all. This office is also very slow in getting referrals to specialists. We had to follow up numerous times over the course of a month to make sure they provided the required information to our child's specialist."

"We have begun seeing Dr. Quynh-Phuong Nhu Ngo, MD & we love her. Dr. Ngo took the time to help my toddler feel comfortable & even modeled the stethoscope on her bear first & me to help her feel more comfortable. Dr Ngo has been very empathetic, didn’t rush us and took the time to answer all our questions and her guidance was so appreciated. She also has not been judgemental about breastfeeding or not and answered all of my questions about alternative milks for my daughter that has reactions when she’s had cows milk & eggs in the past. She sent us home with an informational one pager I keep on the fridge about cows milk alternatives! & her rooms have lots of one pagers ready for parents & crayons & coloring pages. Anyways, can’t say enough great things about her- she’s the BEST hands down!"

"I will start with I have been coming to this clinic for over 15 years with my children and my experiences had always been wonderful and professional. Today however was a complete disaster. Normally when escorted to exam the staff member introduces themselves and are kind. Today the person was “gruff” and rude. The staff member was not pleasant to my son. As she left the room I asked her name and it is Leslie. It was sad I had to ask when usually staff introduces themselves. I will say I normal come to the visits wearing scrubs but today I am wearing sweatpants, t-shirt and a baseball cap. I would like to think that this is not the reason for the unprofessional behavior. As I shared I have never had this experiences before anywhere in the Cook Children system so I would like to view this as an isolated incident."
