They are patient and really get kids motivated to learn. I HIGHLY recommend Sylvan if your kid is struggling with any subject in school. It's a little pricey but man is it worth it!!!”

I have read comments about people complaining that the instructor is strict. “We are fairly new to W.I.S.E. Academy but must give recognition where it is due. Our 2.5-year-old son was seen today by his pediatrician for a 30-month checkup. She was flabbergasted by how advanced he is for his age. She was able to recognize both we as parents work with him and that he does not attend a traditional daycare (not downplaying or criticizing traditional daycare centers) but an academy/school. The pediatrician was also impressed with him having homework and inquired of where he attends. We have been pleased with the transition thus far. I feel comfortable and worry less while he is in their care. He loves going and is always eager to walk through the door. He no longer holds on to my hand as if he doesn’t want to enter (like he did with the previous center he attended for two weeks). We kept searching for the right fit for our child until I came across W.I.SE. Academy. Initially, I was advised there was a wait list for his age group and now I see why. I kept contacting the director until she heard the desperation in my voice and scheduled a tour. Our son was able to attend a week later. I appreciate the low child to teacher ratio. This was the best decision we made for our child learning, development, and advancement. He was potty trained in one week. They suggested not to put him in pull-ups at home and he caught on quickly, their method worked. I love the fact they have parent teacher conferences. I have nothing but great things to say to the entire team at W.I.S.E. Academy. Lastly, the aroma coming from the kitchen out the front door smelled very good. Smelled so good I could’ve had lunch with the kiddos today, laugh out loud. Thank you for all that you do.”

“I was a stay at home mom for 4 years and my kids had only stayed a handful of times with family and only once with a babysitter. When I decided to go back to work and check out places, I left in tears after touring a neighborhood daycare. I did a "pop in" visit at Oaktree ( which wasn't allowed at the other one) and everyone was so friendly and encouraging. My girls started going there a few months ago and they love it and their teachers!! I love when they send home their activity worksheets and little projects. My 4 yr old is on the high maintenance side with food allergies and scratching and they are great with her. We love Ms Ruby, Ms Susan,and Ms T. I hope everyone at least checks them out before deciding on somewhere else.”

“We love Emler!! Both our kids went here, and I recommend it to everyone. My son had had swim lessons before, but they were one-on-one and simply not moving him forward in any way. I appreciated the instructor’s patience but wanted to see real improvement, so I enrolled him at Emler. He LOVED it. The instructors were just as empathetic and patient as our previous, private instructor, but even more fun (it’s clear they love kids). I saw very obvious results very quickly. Within three weeks he was swimming with such confidence!! My daughter was enrolled next, and she was terrified of the water. The first day she sobbed and screamed, and the Emler instructors were remarkably patient, kind, and caring. They spoke to her soothingly, created fun games, validated her feelings, and even managed to make her smile while she was scared. By the second day she had calmed down and by the third she couldn’t wait to jump into the water. Now she, too, is swimming well, and both of them love going to swim lessons. Emler is great for all levels of ability and confidence in the water for young kids!”
