Waller County Fairgrounds
The Waller County Fairgrounds, located at 21988 Farm to Market 359 in Hempstead, Texas, is home to the Waller County Fair Association (WCFA), a charitable tax exempt 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a wholesome and productive lifestyle for youth. The WCFA is run by volunteers who work tirelessly to produce programs and events that benefit the community. The association offers academic and vocational scholarship opportunities to help develop future generations with strong character, work ethic, sportsmanship, and personal responsibility. Since 1945, the fairgrounds have grown to include fun activities, community facilities, and expanded scholarship opportunities. On Saturdays after 4pm, admission prices are $25 for adults, $5 for ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Those aged 60 and over can enter for $5. This pass grants admission to all events on the grounds, including the rodeo, dances, carnival, and animal show. It also includes gate admission for all 9 days of the fair and unlimited carnival rides on Wednesday and Saturday during normal carnival hours.
