“I wish I would've found Sterling Transmission sooner! After having my transmission rebuilt by another shop in the area, it went out on me shortly after a year of having it rebuilt. The warranty was only 12 months / 12,000 miles. When asking some of my friends who they recommend for transmissions, Ron came highly recommended from several people! I called Ron and he took the time to go over what all he was gonna do to rebuild the transmission for my truck. He also explained to me that his work carried a 24 month / 24,000 mile warranty. I took my truck to Ron to let him rebuild my transmission. When I got it back from the shop, I couldn't believe how big of a difference I felt, way better than the other place I had taken to. I had an issue a few months later and Ron quickly without hesitation took care of it. If you are looking for an HONEST transmission repair shop, look no further than Sterling Transmission. “Thinking I had exhausted all of my options with my baby duramax, I decided to stop at this place. I met Guzman, explained all the vehicles abnormalities after its retune and turbo swap. The fix cost us a pull a plug and about 5 min of our time, great experience in and out of the shop! Truck's exhaust brake works, power is back. “I have a 2013 BMW Z4 28i with the turbocharged 4 cylinder N20 engine at 79,000 miles. It was making a whining noise and a check engine light on, I knew it was going to need significant repairs. I looked around and found German Car Specialists and decided to give them a try instead of the dealer. I love my Z4 and plan on keeping it a long time and wanted any repairs to be done right and at a reasonable cost. From the very first call I could tell they were BMW experts and customer focused, willing to answer and discuss all of my questions. It turned out I needed a new intake manifold, not such a simple job on the N20, and then they discovered my timing chain was very loose and it needed to be replaced as well, a common issue on the N20, and also not a simple job. Berk and Mark kept me informed as they did the work, sending progress pictures and showing me the engine codes and explained what they were doing and why all along the way. They did a great job, my Z4 is running better than it ever has! And considering the complexity of the job and parts they did it a reasonable cost. I highly recommend!”
