He then attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he earned his D.O. and Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology. Dr. Knott completed his general surgery training at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, and discovered his passion for pediatric surgery during a mission trip to Haiti. He furthered his training with a Pediatric Surgery Fellowship in Kansas City, where he gained expertise in advanced minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Knott joined Cook Children's in 2016 and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and their families. His love for pediatric surgery is evident in his commitment to helping children feel better after surgery, whether it's a laparoscopic hernia repair or a laparoscopic resection of a choledochal cyst.
