"We LOVE Mr West. In April my son has a random seizure, his first and only that sent him into a tailspin of worry, anxiety, and fear. We worked with our school counselor for 2 months, and decided we needed more help. In searching through my insurance, all child therapist we either in dallas or Fort Worth and I really wanted someone local with a good reputation, even though they are not on our insurance. We found Messina and associates. We have been seeing Mr West now since August and my son is doing fantastic. He is kind and patient and helps walk him through different events in his life, that to him are a big deal, but gives him strategies on how to cope with his challenges and different ways to think about those events. When we started school in August my Son was going to the school counselor and nurse multiple times a day for panic attacks, etc. After 2-4 weeks of seeing Mr West those visits have now stopped. We continue to see him now, it’s November, 4 months later, and we are starting to run out of troubling things to talk about. We are now coming every 2 weeks instead of weekly. Since he is such a huge help for my son, I almost feel like if we do drop back to monthly sessions that we should continue to keep our son on the schedule because it gives him someone to talk to when he isn’t comfortable talking to us. I highly recommend Mr West from Messina and Associates. He has been a godsend for us."
