Lacy's Shotokan Karate is a traditional Japanese karate dojo located at 1801 North Robison Road in Texarkana, Texas. Our institution focuses on teaching the importance of martial arts and self-defense to individuals of all ages. Led by Master Wayland D. Lacy, a 3-time National Champion and 2-time World Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductee, our students learn powerful self-defense techniques that promote self-control, self-confidence, and respect. At Lacy's Shotokan Karate, we teach traditional techniques such as punches, kicks, knees, and blocks, as well as takedowns and submissions to prepare our students for any situation. Whether you are a Karate Kid or an adult, our classes cater to all skill levels and abilities. Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for classes specifically designed for Karate Kids Color Belts and Adult Karate practitioners.
