Named after the legendary football coach Bob Shelton, who coached in the district for 47 years, the stadium seats 8,600 people and features an artificial field turf. The facility includes a track with seven lanes, jump pits, a high jump area, and a pole vaulting area. Press box accommodations are available on both the home and visitor sides, with television and radio booths. All Hays CISD students receive free entry to athletic events with their student IDs, and elementary students accompanied by a parent can enter for free with a paid parent ticket or pass. Remote parking and shuttle service to the stadium is no longer available as of the 2019 season.
