“We were traveling through Texas and called Rockhouse RV Park in Big Spring, Texas for reservations! Randy was very helpful and assured us we would have a space for our RV. When we arrived we were greeted by Daniel, the owner! He was wonderful to help us set up and truly made us feel welcomed! We have been traveling in RV’s since 1991 and it is a real pleasure to find a RV park that makes you feel at home! “Stayed at this location for 2 weeks while in town on business, absolutely loved my stay staff especially manager Becca were so amazing and accommodating in everyway, rooms extremely clean. “Such friendly folks! We called for an overnight stop, they were full. A little later the manager called me back & asked if we had found a site. We had not. Someone had just pulled out so she held the site for us! No one does that! Clean park, friendly and quiet. We will stay here again!”

“The only issue is the lack of green grass for fido to do his business. Not really friendly to your pup in hot weather. But the people are great and the property is well kept. The huge towering water tank behind the place can be seen for miles away. Located about 1 block south of I-20 on business 87. Easy to find with dining options within walking distance. “This is one of my favorite hotels. The staff is awesome!! Front desk is extremely helpful. The cleaning staff is friendly as well. I stay here every year for work for 4-7 weeks and each time its been a pleasure. Good breakfast in the morning is always hot and fresh. “The outside was clean, but parking was very tight. Big pickups, to be expected, contributed to the tight feeling. We were a little apprehensive, until we walked into the room. The room was freshly painted, with new appearing furniture & mattresses. Everything sleek & modern. Roomy low-step shower. We were surprised! Quiet both day & night. Reasonable rate. I will stay here again when visiting family. Definitely recommend.”

“If i could give this place more stars i would. I stayed here for a week and a half, for working reasons, and for my last day of stay, i didn't have enough money, but the manager "Patel" was kind enough to let me stay one more night, free of charge. The room i stayed at was always tidy and clean, EVERY, SINGLE, DAY. Plus the weekly rates at this Inn are worth the stay, if you are on really on a Budget. If i could stay here again, I most definitely would.”

“Absolutely adored our time here!! I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come back to the Big Bend area for a visit. It is a 25 minute drive to Terelingua where you will find restaurants, shops, etc. Then another about another 30 minutes from Terilingua to Big Bend National Park. It took us under an hour from Ten Bits to get to Chisos Basin. It was soooo worth the extra bit of a drive. The views from the property and our porch were so wonderful. Our beds in the Bank were MASSIVE and so comfortable. Showers are pretty hot despite being ran by solar power. Not much cell service, but good wifi. - also, It is self check in, and the turn off is a easy to miss!”

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!! the staff is VERY friendly. The RV spaces are spacious. They are very pet friendly and have a nice large dog run. The laundry and gym are nice and clean. The park is very clean and safe. We stayed there for a couple of months and loved it. The staff is very nice and helpful. If we are ever in the area, this is DEFINATELY where we will stay.”

“Honestly, I didn't get the opportunity to stay here, but on my road trip from El Paso to Dallas we had stopped to sleep in the car, on our mad dash trip to DFW. I showed up looking like a bum, sweatshirt, red eyes and hair a mess, (30 minutes of sleep after 23 hours of being awake and 8 of those driving), for me to ask the receptionist at the desk to be able to use the restroom. She was sweet, no judgemental and didn't say no. The location is strange getting to the hotel, but from the history it was a center of the town, and it's absolutely beautiful inside. Decorated for Christmas, warm and inviting, smelled clean and yet a hint of Christmas. Bathrooms were lovely, and I was able to go about my business and leave- but I left with the deep impression that this hotel cared, and I would absolutely love to be able to come back as a guest with my husband for a Texas getaway. Thank you, staff at Hotel Settles, for not judging this book by it's overtired and frumpy cover. Elegant hotel worth the time to visit.”

“The Riata Inn is a really nice place to stay while you're visiting Marfa, Balmorhea, Terlingua, Presidio, and the Big Bend area. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with a large flat-screen TV and all the Direct TV channels. There's a large walk-in shower, microwave, and refrigerator in the room, and the air conditioning is excellent. You park your car right in front of your room, and downtown Marfa is just a minute away. You'll find all kinds of coffee, soft drinks, and treats in the office, and Gene, your host, will do everything possible to make your stay as memorable as it is enjoyable. All in all, the Riata Inn is a terrific, reasonably priced place to stay in Marfa. You'll be happy you chose to stay here!”
